K1 Forged Connecting Rods 139.5mm – Set of 5

Description

When building your Volvo 2.3l engine, using forged rods and pistons is an excellent way to hold more boost and make more power. These K1 forged rods are a perfect match for our Wiseco Forged Pistons.

Before any finish work is done, our rods are 100% mag particle inspected. ARP bolts are installed and tightened to our exacting specifications prior to honing to insure accurate and repeatable bore geometry. All K1 Technologies connecting rods are honed in-house and sizes are held to some of the tightest accepted tolerances in the industry. Rods are weight-matched into sets and boxed, with the rotating, reciprocating and total weights noted for convenient use in the balancing process

Billet 4340 Steel H Beam connecting rods. Closely monitored material mechanical properties for optimum performance. Designed and finish honed in the USA. Sizes held to some of the tightest tolerances in the industry, +/- .0001” and +/- 1 gram per end. Shot peened for improved fatigue life. Bronze wrist pin bushings. Exclusively using ARP 2000 fasteners
