do88 performance intercoolers are an all aluminium construction with cad designed, flow optimized, cast end tanks and optimized core design to achieve the best possible cooling efficiency combined with lowest possible pressure drop!<\/p>\n

The OEM intercooler was designed for the power level the car in stock form\u00a0and a power increase or even spirited driving with the stock intercooler\u00a0will make it clear that the factory setup is simply inadequate.
\nThe OEM intercooler uses plastic end tanks that don’t fair well with increased boost pressure. The do88 performance intercooler and its all aluminum construction can handle as much boost as you can throw at it!<\/p>\n

A common misunderstanding is that an intercooler installed in the factory\u00a0position cannot provide good performance and a front mounted intercooler or “FMIC” would be much better. In fact,\u00a0the do88 performance intercooler are far better than most FMIC installations where only a small core can be used without major modification of the front fascia\u00a0and is\u00a0also often installed partially behind the bumper beam which will reduce cooling capacity even further. In many cases the net effect is an intercooler that performs worse than the stock setup.<\/p>\n

do88 performance intercooler comes with all hardware necessary for installation.
\nThis intercooler fits all Volvo S60 \/ V70 \/ XC70 \/ S80 turbo models with or without sensor on the intercooler outlet. A\u00a0block off plate is included that will be used on cars without a sensor mounted on the intercooler outlet.<\/p>\n

NOTE! When installing this intercooler on a S60 R \/ V70 R the small auxiliary intercooler needs to be removed as it will not be used with the do88 intercooler.\u00a0On R-models the center grille is a part of this auxiliary intercooler. This means when you remove this intercooler you\u00a0can either replace it with grille mesh or simply leave it open.<\/p>\n
